Terms and conditions
1. Booking & Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability.
A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit or full payment.
Clients will receive a booking confirmation by email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
2. Payment Policy
Full payment is required before the tour commencement date unless otherwise agreed.
Payments may be made via M-Pesa, bank transfer, credit/debit card, or approved payment methods.
Prices are quoted in Kenya Shillings (KES) unless stated otherwise.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
By the Client
More than 7 days before the tour: Full refund less transaction fees.
3–7 days before the tour: 50% refund.
Less than 72 hours before the tour: No refund.
No-shows are non-refundable.
By the Company
If the company cancels due to operational reasons, clients may choose: A full refund, or
Rescheduling to another available date.
Many tour operators apply increasing cancellation charges closer to departure and do not refund no-shows.
4. Changes to Bookings
Requests to amend bookings must be submitted in writing.
Changes are subject to availability.
Additional costs may apply.
5. Tour Inclusions & Exclusions

Entrance fees listed in the itinerary.
Activities specifically stated in the tour package.
Excluded
Personal expenses.
Travel insurance.

6. Client Responsibilities
Participants must:
Arrive at the designated meeting point on time.
Follow guide instructions at all times.
Respect local laws, customs, wildlife, and other participants.
Inform the company of any medical conditions that may affect participation.
Late arrivals may result in missing part or all of the tour without refund. This is common in tour operator policies.
7. Health & Safety
Clients participate at their own risk.
The company reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone whose behavior may endanger themselves or others.
Participants should ensure they are medically fit for the activities booked.

8. Weather & Force Majeure
- Tours may operate in varying weather conditions.
- The company reserves the right to alter itineraries, routes, or schedules due to:
- Severe weather
- Traffic conditions
- Government restrictions
- Safety concerns
- Events beyond reasonable control
Many operators include force majeure clauses covering weather, government actions, emergencies, and other unforeseen events.
9. Liability
- The company acts as an organizer and shall not be liable for loss, injury, accident, delay, theft, or damage arising from circumstances beyond its control.
- Clients are responsible for their personal belongings.
10. Photography & Marketing
- Photos or videos taken during tours may be used for marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
11. Children
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian unless otherwise specified.
12. Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
13. Acceptance
- By booking a tour, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
Optional Nairobi-Specific Clauses
For tours involving places such as Nairobi National Park, Giraffe Centre, or Karen Blixen Museum, you may also include:
- Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
- Park entry fees are subject to changes by relevant authorities.
- Clients must follow all park regulations and guide instructions.
